Abstract

Klasični aksialni ventilatorji zaradi svojega osnovnega konstrukcijskega koncepta ustvarjajo tokovno motnjo v izstopni cevi, v kateri se zaradi namestitve pogonskega elektromotorja zmanjša tudi pretočni presek. V diplomskem delu je v ta namen predstavljena nova oblika aksialnega ventilatorja, pri kateri so odpravljene pomanjkljivosti konvencionalnih aksialnih ventilatorjev. Za primerjavo obratovalnih karakteristik med obema oblikama ventilatorjev je bila izvedena numerična analiza. Iz dobljenih rezultatov obratovalnih karakteristik je prikazano, da se je z dano novo obliko ventilatorja izboljšal izkoristek delovanja, s čimer dokazuje, da je nova oblika pravilna smer za nadaljnje raziskovanje.

Secondary title: Numerical analysis of the operating characteristics of an axial fan with blades embedded in the hub at the periphery of the rotor
Secondary abstract: Due to its basic structural design, the classic axial fans generate a disorder in the current in the outlet pipe, where the cross-section flow is also reduced because of the inserted electric motor drive. My thesis thus presents the new form of the axial fan, which eliminates the deficiencies of the conventional axial fans. The numerical analysis has been conducted to enable the comparison of operating characteristics between the two forms of fans. The obtained results of the operating characteristics show that with a given new shape of the fan the operation efficiency has improved. This proves that the new form is the right direction to follow for further research.
