Abstract

Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis introduces possibilities of using waste heat in the paper factory Vipap Videm Krško. The results of the energy balance show that the temperature of heat available is 220°C. Based on the findings it is concluded that the best solution for using waste heat is a low-temperature ORC process. The following chapters present calculations of actual possibilities of electricity production from waste heat. The last part of the thesis deals with ecological and economic justification of the factory's investments into the ORC system for using waste heat.
