Abstract

Za cilj smo si zadali poenostaviti proces zajema podatkov o proizvedenih količinah in skrajšati čas do razpoložljivosti teh podatkov v IS.

Secondary title: REENGEENERING OF PRODUCED QUANTITY RECORDING PROCESS IN STEKLARNA HRASTNIK D.D.
Secondary abstract: In this degree we will renovate the process of produced quantity recording in Steklarna Hrastnik d.d. Currently the quantity of products produced is recorded handwritten. Various forms are used to capture the data, and copying of data between forms and over typing in different information systems (ERP (MIT), Measurements and control (MIK)), can take place to collate the information. The current data collection system has been identified to potentially increase the risk for error, also furthermore, could be considered as a poor use of resources, particularly in relation to the time required to collect and input the data. Data inputting may also be done at different times, later, on subsequent shifts. Inputting data at later times has the potential for delays in identifying errors and initiating action to resolve any identified problems. We have set an objective to simplify the process for recording data, considering time and method for data collection. The end goal is to develop a more efficient process with the same or higher accuracy as existing process. The existing process model was developed through EPC and generated with MS Visio. The model was analyzed and current losses and poor use of resources were identified. The current findings have been considered alongside the companies possibilities and options offered by the existing information and technology. On these bases we prepare EPC model of improved process. An improved process is more efficient, improve the use of resources, and offer significant cost savings. For example reduce time to record and collect data and decrease the risk for error.
