Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo prikazali trende kriminalitete v Belgiji, pri čemer smo se opirali na obstoječe vire in literaturo. Na podlagi javno dostopnih sekundarnih podatkov (European Sourceook of Crime and Criminal Justice ter internetne strani belgijske federalne policije) smo prikazali trende kriminalitete v Belgiji. Belgija se z različnimi vrstami kaznivih dejanj sooča na različne načine. Na podlagi rezultatov večih raziskav lahko sklepamo o trendih kriminalitete v Belgiji po letu 2000. Diplomsko delo vsebuje poleg uvoda več poglavij. V uvodu smo razložili namen in način, prikaza problematike trendov v Belgiji. V drugem poglavju smo opredelili teoretska izhodišča in metode dela (analiza problematike merjenja kriminalitete v sodobnih družbah, uporaba in analiza sekundarnih podatkov, primerjava različnih družb). Opisali smo nekatere kriminološke teorije o vzrokih kaznivih dejanj ter podrobneje pogledali izbrane makro - sociološke pristope k razlagi kriminalitete v sodobnih družbah. V tretjem poglavju smo na grobo opisali Belgijo, njeno ureditev ter pogledali v njeno zgodovino. Četrto poglavje prikazuje osnovne trende v Belgiji za klasična kazniva dejanja (po podatkih ESB in federalne policije). Sledi peto poglavje, kjer smo primerjali trende v Belgiji s trendi v Sloveniji in na Nizozemskem. Pri primerjavah smo uporabili predvsem podatke iz ESB. Šesto poglavje je namenjeno testiranju trendov kriminalitete v Belgiji.

Secondary abstract: The diplom paper, titled Crime trends in Belgium and is displayed from various sources and literature. Based on pubilc available secondary data (European Sourcebook of Crime nad Criminal Justice and web page of the Belgian federal police) we presend what are the trends of criminal offences in Belgium is facing various types of offences with different methods. Based on results from various researches we are able to make a conclusion on crime trends in Belgium after 2000. The diploma paper consists of introduction, theoretical part, analysis of data and conclusion. The introduction explains the purpose and in which way we have demonstrated trends of criminal offences in Belgium. In the second chapter we showed which theoretical basis and methods of work we have used (the analysis of problems occurring with measuring criminal rate in modern societies, the usage and analysis of the secondary data, comparisons among different societies).We described some of the theory of criminal theory on the causes of crime and looked in the selected macro sociological approacges to the interpretation of criminality in contemporary societies. In the third chapter we described Belgium, its regulation and looked into its history. In the fourth chapter we showed underlying trends in Belgium for the classic criminal offences (according to the ESB and Belgian federal police). The fifth chapter shows the comparison of trends in Belgium with trends in Slovenia and the Netherlands. Comparisons using primarily data from the ESB. The sixth chapter is the test of trends of criminality in Belgium.
