Abstract

Cilj vsakega podjetja je doseganje dobička, da pa podjetje lahko preživi v današnjih časih, se mora boriti za svoj obstoj na trgu in posledično strmeti k izpopolnjevanju, bodisi same organizacije bodisi tehnologij, ki jih uporablja. Temeljna metoda vitke proizvodnje je kanban, ki temelji na zmanjšanju nepotrebnih zalog, posledično tudi stroškov, ki so vezani na zaloge, zagotavlja urejeno shemo pretoka informacij izdelka po posameznih procesnih področjih, kar pripomore k večji fleksibilnosti, to pa daje podjetju prednost in konkurenčnost na trgu, saj se je sposobno hitro odzvati na potrebe kupcev. V podjetju Geberit – Sanitarna tehnika, d.o.o., so se odločili vpeljati metode vitke proizvodnje, natančneje kanban, saj so primorani v hiter odziv, ki ga zahteva vse večja konkurenca. Cilj samega podjetja je zmanjšanje zalog, ki so za današnji čas prevelike. V magistrskem delu bomo v nadaljevanju predstavili uvedbo sistema kanban v samem podjetju, tehnike in principe samega sistema ter naredili praktičen primer vpeljevanja sistema kanban na primeru odtočnega ventila tipa 280.

Secondary abstract: Nowadays companies need to take part in the inevitable struggle for business on the market and since the main aim of each company is to gain profit, it is necessary to constantly improve the organization of the company and all the technology used in production. Kanban is a basic method in lean production, which enables less stock outs and consequently reduces all associated costs. In addition, it insures an organized information flow of the product according to certain process stage, which increases flexibility and guarantees significant priority and competitiveness on the market, since it empowers a quick response to customers’ needs. As well as many others, company Geberit – Sanitarna tehnika d. o. o. is facing a growing competition on the market. In order to provide a quick response to customer service they chose to implement lean production with the Kanban system. The company strives to achieve less stock outs, which have exceeded acceptable values, regarding the current market situation. This thesis will present the implementation of the Kanban system in the company Geberit – Sanitarna tehnika d. o. o., individual techniques and principles of the introduced system and a practical example of implementing the Kanban system in production of drain valves type 280.
