Abstract

Magistrsko delo opisuje postopek razvoja centraliziranega informacijskega sistema za inteligentna okolja, s katerim želimo podpreti pridobivanje, obdelavo in posredovanje informacij različnim ciljnim sistemom. Skozi nalogo se bomo spoznali z informacijskimi sistemi in metodologijami razvoja. V diplomskem delu smo prikazali praktično uporabo opisanih metodologij razvoja informacijskega sistema in samega razvoja na primeru izdelave spletne strani in interaktivnega predstavitvenega zaslona za izboljšanje dostopnosti informacij študentov Inštituta za elektroniko in telekomunikacije na Fakulteti za elektrotehniko, računalništvo in informatiko, Univerze v Mariboru. Za spletne strani smo pri razvoju uporabili iterativni pristop, medtem ko smo se pri razvoju predstavitvenega zaslona zaradi težje določljivih ciljev poslužili prototipnega načina.

Secondary abstract: This master's thesis describes the development process of centralized information system for intelligent ambients. This system aims to support the retrieval, processing and providing information to various end devices. In this document we will learn about information systems and various development methodologies and show a practical use of said methodologies with the development of website and an interactive presentation display. The goal for this application is to improve access to information for the students of Institute of electronics and telecommunication at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. For the development of the website we applied an iterative methodology, whereas we used prototyping methodology in the case of development of the presentation display due to more elusive goals.
