Abstract
Namen: opredeliti kakovost zdravstvene nege v nujni medicinski pomoči ter z raziskavo ugotoviti zadovoljstvo pacientov s kakovostjo zdravstvene nege v nujni medicinski pomoči.

Patient satisfaction with quality of nursing care in primary health care |
Secondary abstract: |
Theoretical background: patient satisfaction can be described as the degree of consistency between patients' expectations and actually received care. In order to achieve adequate quality of nursing care interventions must be carried out in accordance with the expectations of patient.
Purpose: define the quality of nursing care in the emergency department and with survey to determine patient satisfaction with the quality of nursing care in the emergency department.
Methods: we used quantitative descriptive empirical causal non experimental method of research. We surveyed 102 patients, who visited the emergency department and had received nursing care. We used a standardized questionnaire CECSS.
Results: the results showed that patients are satisfied with the quality of performed nursing care. Demographic data statistically not significantly affect overall satisfaction in CESCC points. Pearson's correlation coefficient showed a positive correlation between the provision of information and technical competencies of nurses. The patients were satisfied with pain relief because they get an effective means of pain relief.
Conclusion: it is important to figure out which areas of nursing care need to be continually improved to achieve the patient's expectations. In the future patient satisfaction will represent an important role in the continuous improvement of quality emergency nursing care and, consequently, to raise it. |
