Abstract

Dodatno smo ustreznost metod potrdili z izkoristki in medlaboratorijskimi primerjalnimi testi, saj so le-ti ponovljivi in znotraj predpisanih kriterijev.

Secondary title: ANALYTICAL METHODS FOR DETERMINING OF POLYCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS AND THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS
Secondary abstract: The aim of this diploma paper is to present different analysis methods for defining polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in different matrixes. We also tried to discover the influences of organic pollutants, in our case of aromatic hydrocarbons, on human beings and on the environments we live in. In order to define the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons we used the method of high performance liquid chromatography using fluorescent (FLD) and DAD detectors. The sample preparation processes were the extractions liquid-liquid and solid-liquid. The results for the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons' contents were statistically valued, regarding the demands of the validation process. The results of the analyses showed that these analyses methods are suitable for defining polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in waters between 2 ng/mL and 20 ng/mL, in composts and mud between 5 ng/mL and 30 ng/mL, as well as in emissions between 1 µg/mL and 5 µg/mL. The suitabilities of these methods were also confirmed from efficiency and inter-lab comparison tests, as they are repeatable and within the prescribed criteria.
