Vloga in pomen gasilstva na področju varnosti cestnega prometa

Abstract

Gasilstvo je včasih predstavljalo predvsem gašenje ognja, dandanes pa je pomen njihovega dela mnogo širši. S širitvijo cestne infrastrukture in z izboljšanjem možnosti za nakup vozil, ki je posledično privedlo do gostejšega prometa, so se naloge gasilcev v tej smeri močno razširile, zato sem v diplomskem delu opredelila vlogo in pomen gasilcev na področju varnosti cestnega prometa. Na tem področju imajo gasilci največjo vlogo pri reševanju v prometnih nesrečah. Poglavitni vzrok za dodelitev novih nalog gasilcem je bil vsekakor razvoj prometne infrastrukture in prometa nasploh. Naloga opisuje tudi razvoj gasilstva skozi čas ter pravne podlage, ki gasilcem določajo naloge in odgovornosti na področju varnosti cestnega prometa. Organiziranost gasilstva v Sloveniji ter ustanovitev in naloge gasilskih enot širšega pomena so ključne za opravljanje tovrstnih nalog gasilcev. Gasilci v največji meri k varnosti v cestnem prometu prispevajo z reševanjem v prometnih nesrečah, zato je vloga prvih posredovalcev ključnega pomena. Anketa o poznavanju gasilstva nasploh in vloge gasilcev pri varnosti cestnega prometa je podala pričakovane rezultate, in sicer dobro poznavanje omenjenega problema pri Slovencih v vseh starostnih skupinah.

Secondary abstract:	The work of fire fighters in the past included mainly extinguishing fire, but today their scope of work has expanded greatly. Due to development of the road infrastructure and better chances to buy a vehicle, traffic became heavier than ever and that resulted in expansion of fire fighters' work on this field. In my diploma paper I defined the role and the meaning of fire fighters on the area of the road traffic safety, where fire fighters play a very important role by extricating victims of motor vehicle crashes. The reason to expand the scope of their work is absolutely the development of road infrastructure and traffic in general. The diploma paper include also the development of the fire fighting throughout the history and law resources, which determine duties and responsibilities of the fire fighters on the area of the road traffic safety. The organization of fire fighting in Slovenia and the establishment and duties of the fire fighter brigades of wider duties are the most important to perform this kind of work. The rescue at the scene of emergency is the key contribution of fire fighters on the field of the road traffic safety, however, the role of the firstcomers at the scene of accident is vital. The survey about the fire fighting in general and the role of fire fighters on the area of the road traffic safety gives the expected results, that people of different generations in Slovenia are quite familiar with this area.
