Abstract

Tretje poglavje opisuje nevronske mreže, njihovo zgradbo in značilnosti. Zadnje poglavje predstavlja dva pomembna projekta The Blue Brain Project in The Human Project, v katerih so vključeni vsi elementi iz prejšnjih poglavij in ki z novimi pogledi predstavljata novo upanje za umetno inteligenco.

Secondary abstract: Artificial intelligence is one of the disciplines, which along with philosophy, psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, and anthropology forms interdisciplinary field of cognitive science. The aim of artificial intelligence is to create a thinking machine that had feelings and consciousness. This diploma thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter contains a definition and overview of the history of artificial intelligence. The second chapter focuses on the symbolic hypothesis and introduces the cognitive science. The third section describes neural networks, their structure and characteristics. The last chapter presents two important projects The Blue Brain Project and The Human Project, which includes all the elements of previous chapters and with new views these programs represent a new hope for artificial intelligence.
