Abstract

Diplomska naloga obravnava območje med Strossmayerjevo in Gospejno ulico v Mariboru. Napravljena je idejna zasnova študentskega doma za študentske družine s poudarkom na skupnostnem bivanju. V prvem delu so predstavljeni kratka zgodovina Maribora, študentski domovi v mestu in značilnosti življenja študentov danes. Sledijo analize referenčnih primerov študentskih domov in analiza obravnavanega območja z razlago idejne zasnove oziroma koncepta študentskega kompleksa.

Secondary abstract:	Diploma thesis deals with the area between Strossmayerjeva and Gospejna street in Maribor. The design is made as the concept of student dorms for student families with a focus on cohousing model. The first part of the thesis defines an overview of Maribor history, student dorms in the city and the features of student’s life nowadays. The diploma thesis then proceeds with the analysis of the reference examples of student dorms, analysis of the area and finally the analysis of the conceptual design of student dorm building.
