diplomsko delo
Abstract
Zapisani poknjiženi iztočnici sledi njena fonetično zapisana narečna ustreznica, v prvi in drugi slovarski obliki, in besednovrstna oznaka.

Shoemaking terminology in the Rogašovci local dialect |
Secondary abstract: |
This diploma work titled, Shoemaking terminology in Rogašovci local dialect, focuses on the naming of the shoe expressions in Prekmurje dialect, rogašovski speech. The theoretical part shows us the phonetics and morphology chapters of rogašovski speech, which according to Slovene dialectology is classified to the Pannonian dialect group. The description is illustrated with the examples. The theoretical starting points are substantiated by the single linguistic surfaces, that are shown in the practical results. The key element of the diploma work represents the shoe idioms dictionary which was written with the help of the informer Geze Kisilak, who is still active in the shoemaking trade. He is the only shoemaker from Pomurje, who manufactures shoes by hand and custom-made. With the extinction of the handmade trade, vanishes also the old idiomatic expressions of shoes. Therefore the preserving of the shoemaking trade has a tremendous meaning for the cultural and linguistic heritage. The result of the handwriting transcription is shown in the end in the alphabetical order in the dictionary. Listed shoe glossary in the dictionary is arranged alphabetically. The entry headword in the dictionary is followed by the transcription of the written dialect word, in the first and the second dictionary form and the word class sign. Followed by a word meaning, taken from the Dictionary of the Standard Slovene language. An example of recorded dialect material is added to each word, in which this dialect term is used. The collected dialect materials are etymologically analyzed and compared to dictionary entries of the basic dictionaries of the Dictionary of the Standard Slovene language and later Prekmurian dialect dictionaries. The gathered results prove that the root words are of Slovene origin, and that the borrowed words are mainly of German origin. Only the oldest generation is familiar to the old origin of words, and not even to all of them. It appears that there is also a modern vocabulary of shoe words that is known to a younger generation of industrialization. The gathered results will therefore be the contribution to the further research of the Prekmurje dialect and the idiomatic expressions of shoes. |
