magistrsko delo Management informacijskih sistemov, Analiza in načrtovanje informacijskih sistemov
Abstract
Predvideni učinki predlogov so: a)povečana sposobnost upravljanja spreminjajočih prioritet zahtev in produktivnost, b) izboljšana sledljivost projekta, morala skupine in kakovost programske opreme, c) zmanjšano tveganje zakasnitve ali neuspeha projekta in d) večje zadovoljstvo naročnikov ob enakih virih.

Adjustment of agile method to integrade EDMS into existing information system |
Secondary abstract: |
In this research we adapt agile methods for the integration of EDMS in existing information systems. Problem situation, which is in this particular business system perceived are a lack of defined methodology for the integration, the average overrun of planned project deadlines from 20 % to 50 %, difficulty in tracking design changes, lack of testing and undefined prioritizing requests.
A review of the scientific literature on agile methods, EDMS and BPMN is presented. It was found that the specific literature on the adaptation of agile methods in the integration of EDMS solution does not exist. Concrete examples of the integration process of EDMS in this business are analysed. BPMN was used as a tool for business process modeling.
We surveyed three types of EDMS users: end users, responsible owners of EDMS and end users, who are also responsible owners of EDMS. Survey showed that clients in more than half of the cases agree with the values of agile development and that to client operating software is almost as important as the complete documentation. Introduction of EDMS solutions caused user dissatisfaction at the beginning, but users would nevertheless recommend services and EDMS products to others. The majority have opinion that they would not return to the situation prior to the implementation of EDMS.
The most important suggestions on integration improvements are introduction of daily stand-up meetings, product backlogs, sprint backlogs, task boards and requirement prioritization. It would be particular important to use shorter development cycles and deeper client involvement in the integration.
Expected impacts of these improvements include: a) increased management capabilities for changing priorities and productivity, b) improved project traceability, group morale, and software quality, c) reduced risk of project overrun or project failure and d) increased customer satisfaction while using equal resources. |
