Abstract

V diplomskem delu je prikazana teorijska in praktična analiza ter rešitve izdelave avtomatske vremenske postaje, ki smo jo izdelali s pomočjo na slovenskih šolah najpogostejšega vmesnika Vernier LabPro. V prvem delu je predstavljenih nekaj fizikalnih osnov meteorologije, različne naprave, ki se uporabljajo v meteorologiji in izdelava vremenske napovedi. Preverili smo, v kolikšni meri je meteorologija zastopana v učnih načrtih pri fiziki in naravoslovju v osnovni šoli. Nato opisujemo zgradbo vremenske postaje in delovanje merilnih instrumentov. Sledi predstavitev izdelave avtomatske vremenske postaje z vmesnikom LabPro, implementacija najpomembnejših metod in razredov v aplikaciji, implementacija spletne podatkovne baze MySQL in implementacija spletne strani. Preverili smo tudi možnosti uporabe avtomatske vremenske postaje v osnovnih šolah po Sloveniji. Celotna implementacija aplikacije, spletne baze podatkov in spletne strani je objavljena kot priloga na zgoščenki.

Secondary abstract: In this graduation thesis we present the theoretical and practical analysis and solutions to the making of an automatic weather station which was built using Vernier LabPro, the most common interface in Slovenian schools. In the first part some basics in physics of meteorology and various devices that are used in meteorology are presented. The process of weather forecasting is also described. The representation of meteorology in the curricula of physics and natural sciences in elementary schools is examined next. Then the structure of the weather station and measuring instruments is described. Following that is a presentation of how a weather station with LabPro interface was made, describing our implementation of most important methods and classes in the application, our implementation of MySQL database, and the website. The possibility of using automatic weather stations in elementary schools across Slovenia is also examined. The implementation of the application, MySQL database and the website is fully published as an annex on the CD.
