Abstract

Zdravstvena nega kritično bolnih otrok močno vpliva na zdravstvene delavce. Nezmožnost spoprijemanja s smrtjo pacienta lahko ti občutijo kot psihično, čustveno, vedenjsko ali duhovno stisko, ki se na različne načine odraža pri strokovnem delu. Želeli smo predstaviti in raziskati dejavnike, ki vplivajo na umrljivost novorojenčkov in kako se medicinske sestre soočajo z njihovim umiranjem ter posledično s smrtjo.

Secondary abstract: The nursing care of critically ill children has a major impact on health workers. The inability to cope with the death of a patient can be experienced by health workers as psychological, emotional, behavioral or spiritual distress, which is reflected in their professional work in many ways. The study wished to present and explore the factors that affect infant mortality and how nurses deal with their dying and consequently death.
