Abstract

V tej nalogi je predstavljen proces termofrmiranja, ki je zelo znan tehnološki postopek. V nalogi smo se opredelili na visokoodporni termoplast PEEK, ki bi ga s postopkom termoformiranja lahko preoblikovali ceneje in hitreje. V prvem delu naloge je predstavljeno nekaj splošnih lastnosti plastičnih mas in postopkov preoblikovanja le-teh. V nadaljevanju je predstavljen sam postopek termoformiranja na splošno, najbolj osnovne lastnosti in karakteristike. Drugi del naloge bolj podrobno predstavi material PEEK, ki pri nas še ni tako dostopen, zaradi visoke cene. Po lastnostih pa je eden izmed boljših termoplastov in kaže zelo visoko kombatibilnost, zato je zelo dober material za medicinske vsadke.

Secondary abstract: The diploma work presents the process of thermoforming of polyetheretherketone (PEEK) being a highly resistant technical thermoplast. Thermoforming of PEEK would enable its faster and more economical processing in fields of medical applications. The first part of the diploma work explains the basic characteristics of polymers and their processing. The continuation the thermoformic process is presented in general with its basic characteristics and properties. The second part is dedicated to the specifics of PEEK and its processing by thermoforming with regard to its application in medicine.
