Abstract

V Sloveniji imamo Operativni program ravnanja s komunalnimi odpadki, ki sledi evropski politiki ravnanja s komunalnimi odpadki, kar pomeni, da imata snovna izraba in reciklaža prednost pred energetsko izrabo odpadkov. Kljub temu pa je za preostanek odpadkov po mehansko biološki obdelavi potrebno ustrezno poskrbeti, saj se ne sme odlagati odpadkov z zadostno kurilno vrednostjo in biološko razgradljivih odpadkov. Za rešitev tega problema je potrebno del odpadkov z zadostno energetsko vrednostjo termično obdelati oziroma sežgati in energetsko izkoristiti, biološko razgradljive odpadke pa kompostirati ali obdelati v bioplinarni. Zato smo analizirali možnost energetske izrabe odpadkov, ki nastanejo na Gorenjskem, v lokalnem okolju.

Secondary title: Energy potential of municipal solid waste in Gorenjska
Secondary abstract: Slovenia has an operational program of waste management, in line with that of the European Union, which means that recycling and the recovery of materials have priority over the extraction of energy from waste. However, it is necessary to appropriately manage the waste which remains after mechanical biological treatment; waste with sufficient heating value and biodegradable waste, should not be discarded. In order to solve this problem waste with a sufficient energy value should be heat-treated or incinerated, while biodegradable waste should be composted or treated in a biogas plant. To pursue this, we analyzed the possibilities for recovering energy from the waste generated in Gorenjska, in the local area.
