Abstract

Čeprav živimo v času, ko se vse telekomunikacijske storitve selijo na t.i. platforme IP, je v uporabi še vedno veliko telefonskih central, ki ne omogočajo neposredne priključitve na ponudnike telekomunikacijskih storitev IP. Kot rešitev se ponuja prehod VoIP, ki na eni strani nudi priključke javnega komutiranega omrežja, na drugi pa povezavo v omrežje IP. Glede na razmere na tržišču se lahko lastniki telefonskih central odločijo za več ponudnikov, prek katerih opravljajo svoje storitve. To pa je lahko v primeru telefonskih central ISDN vzrok težav, če vsi viri signala ISDN med seboj niso sinhronizirani. Posledice so lahko popačena faks sporočila, neuspešne transakcije POS, težave z javljanjem stanja alarmnega sistema in podobno. V diplomski nalogi predstavimo prehod VoIP nemškega podjetja Teles in možne načine zagotavljanja sinhronizacije signalov ISDN. S pomočjo tega prehoda VoIP telefonsko centralo ISDN priključimo v omrežje IP.

Secondary title: CONFIGURING VoIP GATEWAY BETWEEN ISDN TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND IP NETWORK
Secondary abstract: Although we live in a time when all telecommunication services are moving to the so-called IP platforms, there are still many telephone exchanges which don’t support a direct connection to IP telecommunication service providers. In such cases a VoIP gateway can be a solution, because it enables a public switched telephone network on one end and an IP network on the other. According to the current market standings, owners of a telephone exchange can choose more than just one provider for their services. This may cause problems when dealing with ISDN telephone exchange if all ISDN signal sources are not synchronised. The consequences may be corrupted fax messages, unsuccessful POS transactions, problems with alarm system signal etc. In this diploma work we introduce a VoIP gateway of a German company Teles and possible ways of ensuring an ISDN signal synchronisation. With help of this VoIP gateway we connect an ISDN telephone exchange to an IP network.
