Abstract

Diplomska naloga opisuje razvoj analogne in digitalne televizije, vključuje potrebne proto-kole in tehnike kodiranja za distribucijo signala v omrežju internetnega ponudnika Amis d.o.o.. Prav tako je predstavljena zgodovina podjetja in storitve, ki jih ponuja na segmentu poslovnih in zasebnih uporabnikov. Jedro diplomske naloge je predstavitev storitve IPTV (ang. Internet Protocol Television – televizija preko internetnega protokola) in njena imple-mentacija v omrežju Amis ter uporaba spletne televizije MobiaTV za uporabo na pametnih telefonih, računalnikih in tablicah.

Secondary abstract:	In this diploma thesis, we describe the development of analog and digital television, includ-ing the necessary protocols and encryption techniques for signal distribution in the net-work of the Internet Service Provider Amis. There is also a presentation of the company history and offered services in the segment of residential and business users. The core part of the diploma thesis is the presentation of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), its im-plementation in the Amis network and the use of the web television MobiaTV, is available for watching on smartphones, computers and tablets.
