Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo predstavili usklajevanje poklicnega in družinskega življenja medicinskih sester. Predstavili smo dejavnike, ki vplivajo na usklajevanje poklicnega in družinskega življenja. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela smo želeli ugotoviti kako medicinske sestre pristopijo k usklajevanju in ali imajo na tem področju dovolj znanja in izkušenj. Izvedli smo raziskavo med medicinskimi sestrami, ki so zaposlene v intenzivni terapiji. V raziskavi smo ugotovili, da medicinske sestre uspešno usklajujejo družinsko in poklicno življenje in s tem pridobijo večje zadovoljstvo pri delu in družini. Usklajevanje poklica in družine je ob podaljšanju delovnega časa in zahtevnosti dela nekaterim zaposlenim prevelik izziv za ustvarjanje družine. Na tem področju še je treba mnogo usklajevanja na organizacijski in državni ravni za boljše pogoje zaposlenih z družinami. Dobro usklajeno družinsko in poklicno življenje vpliva na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih in kakovost njihovega življenja.

Secondary abstract: In the thesis we present the reconciliation of work and family life of the nurses. We presented the factors which influence the reconciliation of work and family life. In the empirical part of the thesis we wanted to determine how nurses approach to the coordination and whether they have enough knowledge and experience in this area.. We conducted a survey among nurses working in the intensive therapy. In this study, we found out that nurses successfully coordinate work and family life and thereby gain greater job and family satisfaction. Harmonization of work and family life is at the extension of working time and complexity of the work for some employees too big challenge to create a family. In this area a lot of coordination at the organizational and national levels is still needed to get better conditions for employees with families. Well-coordinated work and family life influences on employee satisfaction and quality of their lifes.
