Abstract

Z razvojem informacijske tehnologije (IT) je nastalo veliko novih podjetij. To so bila podjetja, ki so ustvarila tako imenovano novo ekonomijo. V zelo kratkem času so pridobila veliko vrednost in so po velikosti prehitela tudi marsikatero tradicionalno podjetje, ki obstaja že več desetletij. Glavni medij za ta podjetja je bil internet. V času njegovega skokovitega razvoja so bili poslovni modeli imenovani za glavni razlog doseganja visokih prihodkov. V tem diplomskem delu smo se posvetili analizi poslovnih modelov nekaterih vodilnih podjetij, ki delujejo v spletnem okolju. Zanimalo nas je, kaj je njihov vzrok za uspeh. Z analizo poslovnih modelov smo ugotovili, kako podjetje ustvarja, posreduje in pridobiva vrednost. Prišli smo do zaključka, da so uspešni poslovni modeli tisti, ki so zgrajeni na dobri strategiji. Dolgoročni uspeh podjetja pa je odvisen predvsem od uspešnosti prilagajanja podjetja na spremembe v okolju.

Secondary abstract: A lot of new companies have been established with the development of the ICT. These have been companies which have created the so-called new economy. They have gained huge value in a very short period of time and have overtaken (in size) a lot of traditional companies which have existed for several decades. The main medium for these companies has been the Internet. Business models have been named for the main reason for reaching high incomes in the times of its rapid progress. With the analysis of the business models, we have found out how a company creates, passes, and gains value. We have come to a conclusion that a successful business models are the ones that are created from a good strategy. A long-term success depends especially on success of company’s adapting to the changes in the environment. The diploma thesis has focused on the analysis of business models of some leading companies who have been working in the web environment. I have been interested in their reason for success.
