Abstract

V pričujočem diplomskem delu z naslovom "Prehranjevalne navade in znanje o hrani na Osnovni šoli Ivana Skvarče Zagorje ob Savi" se zaokroženo dopolnjujeta teoretični in praktični del.

Secondary title: EATING HABITS AND KNOWLEDGE OF FOOD AT IVAN SKVARČA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN ZAGORJE OB SAVI
Secondary abstract: This diploma thesis entitled "Eating habits and knowledge of food at Ivan Skvarča Elementary School in Zagorje ob Savi" comprises a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part presents different kinds of nutrition with special focus on alternative nutrition. The empirical part includes a survey carried out among 154 pupils of Ivan Skvarča Elementary School in Zagorje ob Savi. The results show that the pupils interviewed are very well aware of the terms - such as vegetarianism and raw foodism - and that almost all of them consume meat even though they think the vegetable is healthier. Hence a great percentage of pupils questioned eat vegetable at least three times a week. Despite knowing and consuming some healthy food, pupils nevertheless have rather poor knowledge about numerous healthy and quality foodstuffs.
