Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo predstavili opeklinsko rano, opisali smo vrste opeklinskih poškodb glede na povzročitelja. Opredelili smo globino opeklinskih poškodb. Poudarili smo zdravstveno vzgojno delo medicinske sestre pri vzdrževanju zdravja. Opisali smo tudi ukrepe v primeru požara ter preprečevanje oparin z vročimi tekočinami. Z raziskavo smo želeli ugotoviti, kakšne opekline so najpogostejše ter kako so ljudje osveščeni o preprečevanju opeklin.

Secondary abstract:	In the featured diploma work we have described the burn wound and the types of burn injuries considering its causes. We have defined thhe depth of burn injuries. The emphasis was placed on health education, mainly the health education work of nurses for health maintenance. We have also described the measures to be followed in case of fire and the scald prevention caused by hot liquids. By means of this research we wanted to find out which are the most common burns and the people's awareness of preventing them.
