Abstract
Način življenja postaja vse bolj umeten. Ljudje se oddaljujejo od narave, ne poslušajo in ne upoštevajo več sebe, svojega telesa, temveč hitijo, da bi uspeli slediti in postati del sprememb, ki jih prinaša sodobno življenje. Posledično se povečujeta psihična in fizična obremenjenost, kar posameznika vodi v stres. Naravni stres človeku ni škodljiv, medtem ko je umeten stres vzrok številnim boleznim današnjega časa. S seboj prinaša mnoge negativne posledice, ki se kažejo na telesni, vedenjski, miselni, čustveni, zdravstveni in osebnostni ravni posameznika. Vendar pa je stres lahko tudi priložnost, da se posameznik začne kot oseba razvijati in rasti. To je mogoče doseči z individualnimi metodami za premagovanje stresa, saj z njimi ne premagujemo zgolj stresa kot takega, ampak postajamo tudi močnejša, bolj umirjena in ljubeča oseba.
Individualnih metod za premagovanje stresa je veliko. V diplomskem seminarju bomo predstavili jogo, meditacijo, vizualizacijo, psihoterapijo, hipnoterapijo, reiki, masažo, aromaterapijo, zdravljenje z zelišči, terapijo s pomočjo živali, ples, življenje v sedanjem trenutku, smeh in številne druge metode, s katerimi se je mogoče učinkovito spopasti s stresom in že preventivno preprečiti njegove škodljive posledice. Predstavili bomo tudi Društvo Joga v vsakdanjem življenju Maribor, ki s ponudbo različnih vrst vadb skrbi za dobro počutje svojih članov, med katere sodijo tudi otroci, nosečnice in starostniki.

The way of life is becoming more and more artificial. People are distancing themselves from nature, they do not consider and listen to themselves and to their bodies any more, but only rush in order to follow and to become a part of the changes that are the result of the modern way of life. Mental and physical workloads are growing as a consequence, and push every individual person to suffer stress. Natural stress does not harm anyone, however, artificial stress is a cause for numerous modern diseases. It brings many negative consequences that get expressed at the physical, behavioural, mental, emotional, health and personal level of every individual. However, stress may also be an opportunity for an individual for personal development and growth. This may be achieved through individual methods for coping with stress as they not only help us to overcome stress as such, but help us to become a stronger, calmer and more loving person.
There are many methods to overcome stress. In this diploma seminar, we will present yoga, meditation, visualization, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, Reiki, massage, aromatherapy, treatments with herbs, animal-assisted therapy, dance, living in the present moment, laugh and many other methods that can be used to help successfully cope with stress and implement preventive measures against its harmful effects. We will also present the Društvo Joga v vsakdanjem življenju Maribor society (Yoga in Daily Life Maribor Society) that is engaged in offering various types of workouts for the welfare of its members, including children, pregnant women and the elderly. |
