Abstract

Cilj diplomske naloge je bil v prvi fazi na laboratorijskem nivoju določiti optimalne pogoje obratovanja čistilne naprave naftne industrije ter v nadaljevanju na osnovi eksperimentalnih podatkov poiskati kinetični model za opisovanje razgradnje dušikovih spojin. Vsi eksperimenti so bili izvedeni v Armfieldovem laboratorijskem reaktorju. Pri delu smo uporabljali odpadno procesno vodo podjetja Nafta Lendava d.o.o ter biološki mulj obstoječe biološke čistilne naprave. Eksperimentalno delo je bilo razdeljeno na dva sklopa. V prvem sklopu eksperimentov smo ob vzdrževanju konstantne koncentracije biomase in bivalnega časa spreminjali temperaturo v reaktorju. V drugem sklopu raziskav pa smo pri različnih pretokih odpadne vode določali iztočno koncentracijo skupnega (amonijevega in organskega) dušika ter koncentracijo organskih snovi. Vsebnost dušika smo določali z metodo po Kjeldahlu, koncentracijo organskih snovi pa z metodo določanja kemijske potrebe po kisiku.

Secondary abstract: In the first phase, the goal of the diploma work was to determine the optimal operational conditions of an oil industry treatment plant on a laboratory level. Then the goal was to find a kinetic model for describing the decomposition of nitrogen compounds on the basis of experimental data. All experiments were carried out in the Armfield laboratory reactor. In the procedure, waste process water from the company Nafta Lendava d.o.o. was used, alongside the biological silt from the existing biological wastewater treatment plant. Experimental work was divided into two parts. In the first lot of experiments, the temperature in the reactor was being altered while maintaining a constant concentration of biomass and residence time. In the second lot, the outlet concentration of the combined nitrogen (ammonium and organic) and the concentration of organic substance were determined while altering the waste water rate of flow. The nitrogen level was determined with the Kjeldahl method, and the concentration of organic substance with the method of chemical oxygen demand.
