diplomsko delo visokošolskega študijskega programa
Abstract
V diplomskem delu opredeljujemo značilnosti kakovostnega e-preverjanja znanja, med katere poleg pedagoške kakovosti, veljavnosti in zanesljivosti sodijo avtentičnost, takojšnja povratna informacija in uporabnikom prijazno elektronsko okolje.

E-ASSESSMENT QUESTIONS QUALITY AND ANALYSIS |
Secondary abstract: |
Assessment of knowledge is an important part of teaching and learning process, based on which evaluation of students’ knowledge and lecturer’s work is made. Besides meeting the psychometric and pedagogic quality standards which apply to traditional methods, assessment of knowledge performed in e-learning environments has to make a good use of distinctive characteristics specific to e-learning environment. As a basic unit of every knowledge assessment, quality of questions determines the quality of the entire process of knowledge assessment, thus the exact procedures for creating quality questions have to be defined.
The diploma thesis defines components which denote a quality e-assessment, which include pedagogical quality, validity, reliability, authenticity, instant feedback and user friendly e-assessment medium. In accordance with the standards and procedures defined, new questions were designed for the Process Synthesis Course at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, University of Maribor, using Moodle Quiz activity module. The questions were included in e-quizzes taken by the students. Quality analysis of new questions was performed based on the statistical parameters included in the Quiz statistics report. A questionnaire was created to obtain students’ opinion on suitability of new questions.
Results show that by well-thought-out questions and good knowledge and use of e-learning tools, we can improve questions authenticity and interactivity, and give additional information to students in the form of immediate feedback. E-assessment of knowledge enables a relatively simple questions quality analysis, which is crucial for mending the flaws and achieving better quality assessments. |
