Abstract

Kadrovski tečaji za pridobitev naziva učitelja alpskega smučanja v naši državi nujno potrebujejo prenovo. Način in tehnika smučanja sta se skozi desetletja močno spremenila, temu pa ni sledil način izvajanja kadrovskih tečajev. Ta še vedno ostaja približno enak in še vedno obsega stare korake nacionalne šole alpskega smučanja. V diplomskem delu so povzeti utrinki zgodovine alpskega smučanja, predstavili smo kako poteka kadrovski tečaj za pridobitev naziva alpskega smučanja v Sloveniji in tujini.

Secondary title: RENEWAL OF THE COURSE FOR SKI INSTRUCTOR TITLE AQUISITION
Secondary abstract: Staff training courses for obtaining the title of an alpine skiing teacher in Slovenia need to be modified. In the past decades, the method and technique of skiing may have changed considerably, yet no such changes have been observed in the manner of the implementation of staff training courses, which has mostly stayed the same, applying old elements of the national alpine skiing school. The thesis summarises glimpses of the history of alpine skiing and describes staff training courses for obtaining the title of an alpine skiing teacher both in Slovenia and abroad. The research work was based on a questionnaire directed towards establishing what the respondents would change to make the staff training courses more efficient and of higher quality. The modification of staff training courses should be in compliance with the trends of modern skiing. Alpine skiing teachers should be masters of skiing but their skills have to be more extensive. They should be capable of helping the course participants, from the youngest to the elderly, conquer their ski technique but at the same time enjoy the white slopes, have fun and ski safely.
