diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študijskega programa I. stopnje
Abstract
V diplomskem delu smo izvedli preliminarne ekonomske analize treh razlicnih postopkov
za obdelavo odpadnih oljno-vodnih emulzij: uparjanja, ultrafiltracije in elektrokoagulacije.
Cilj je bil na podlagi ekonomskih analiz izbrati najprimernejši postopek cišcenja odpadnih
oljno-vodnih emulzij z vidika ucinkovitosti cišcenja in z ekonomskega vidika. Vse tri
postopke smo ovrednotili z direktnim izpustom obdelane vode v centralno cistilno napravo
in v kombinaciji z adsorpcijo na aktivnem oglju. Za vse postopke smo predpostavili letno
kolicino odpadne oljno-vodne emulzije 3 000 t/a in zacetno vrednost kemijske potrebe po
kisiku (KPK) 30 000 mg/L. Rezultati diplomskega dela so pokazali, da imajo vsi postopki
pozitivno neto sedanjo vrednost, kar pomeni, da so ekonomsko sprejemljivi, doba vracanja
je okoli enega leta. Kombinacija postopkov z adsorpcijo na aktivnem oglju nekoliko
poslabša ekonomsko uspešnost v primeru uparjanja, bistveno pa v primeru ostalih dveh
tehnologij.

ECONOMIC ANALYSES OF PROCEDURES FOR WASTE OIL-IN-WATER EMULSIONS TREATMENT |
Secondary abstract: |
In this thesis, preliminary economic analyses of three different procedures for treating
waste oil-in-water emulsions were carried out: the evaporation, ultrafiltration and
electrocoagulation. The aim was to identify the most suitable method for cleaning waste
oil-in-water emulsions in terms of cleaning performance and economic feasibility. All three
procedures were evaluated by direct discharge of treated water in an off-site water
treatment unit, and in combination with adsorption on activated carbon. Annual quantity of
waste oil-in-water emulsions was estimated to 3 000 t/a, and the initial value of the
Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) to 30 000 mg/L for all procedures. The results of this
thesis showed that all three methods would have positive net present values, which means
that the investment projects would be acceptable; payback periods were about one year.
The combination of these procedures by adsorption on activated carbon decreased
somewhat the economic potential in the case of the evaporation, but significantly in the
case of the other two technologies. The ultrafiltration would be the most effective
procedure from the economic point of view. However, if some non-economic factors would
be also considered, such as the availability of the industrial equipment and information, as
well as low final value of the COD, a combination of evaporation and activated carbon
adsorption would represent a good compromise process solution. |
