Abstract

V kolikor otrok v oralni fazi s pomočjo procesov razločevanja in integracije razvije svoj jaz, preide iz simbioze z materjo v odnos navezanosti in razreši krizo zaupanja, bo ob dovolj dobri materi potekal ustrezen način hranjenja, kjer bo otrok s hrano ponotranjil ugodje. V nasprotnem primeru bo otrok s hrano v neustrezni podaljšani simbiozi z materjo reševal svoje probleme.

Secondary title: A theoretical analysis of mother-infant dyad through the prism of feeding situation
Secondary abstract: The master's thesis presents the earliest mother-infant relationship during the feeding period. The aim of the master's thesis is to present how the infant's attitude towards food, which is established in the first three years of life, can either result in healthy eating or an eating disorder - anorexia or bulimia. Namely, the balance between food intake and digestion is established in the first three years of life - in the oral as well as the anal stage. Due to infants ability to develop a self through separation and integration processes and the ability to overcome symbiosis with mother and build attachment with her and resolve the trust crisis, in a dyad with a good enough mother that provides a suitable feeding situation, an infant will internalize pleasure through food intake. While in a prolonged symbiosis with mother an infant might use food for solving problems. Due to mistrust and the inability to differentiate, the child may experience food as something bad and potentially develop an eating disorder. Feeding difficulties in the period of infancy may result in an eating disorder later in life according to the results of the master's thesis, which is based on theoretical analysis.
