Abstract

V diplomskem delu z naslovom Vključevanje predšolskih otrok v dodatne športne aktivnosti smo želeli podrobneje raziskati pomen vključevanja predšolskih otrok v dodatne športne aktivnosti. V teoretičnem delu smo z deskriptivno metodo podrobneje predstavili pomen ustvarjanja in razvoja gibalnih kompetenc za gibalni razvoj otroka, pomen vključevanja predšolskih otrok v dodatne športne aktivnosti, gibalno izkušenjsko bogato okolje ter vlogo staršev, vrtca in kraja bivanja pri vključevanju predšolskih otrok v dodatne športne aktivnosti. V empiričnem delu smo za zbiranje podatkov uporabili kvantitativno tehniko, in sicer anketo zaprtega tipa. Vzorec je ne slučajnostni iz konkretne populacije staršev otrok, ki imajo otroke vključene v dodatno športno aktivnost pri Športnem društvu Svizec v občinah Slovenske Konjice, Zreče in Celje. Podatki so obdelani z deskriptivno statistiko ter tabelarno in grafično prikazani. Ugotovili smo, da so v dodatne športne aktivnosti vključeni predvsem otroci iz mestnega okolja; starši otrok, ki so vključeni v dodatne športne aktivnosti, so višje izobraženi; osebni razlogi staršev za ukvarjanje s športom je njihovo boljše počutje; starši vključujejo otroke v dodatne športne aktivnosti zato, da bi le-ti razvili gibalne sposobnosti; starši se športno udejstvujejo s svojimi otroki večinoma tako, da gredo z njimi na sprehod; starši se sami športno udejstvujejo samo med vikendi.

Secondary abstract: In the presented bachelor thesis titled Inclusion of Preschool Children in Extracurricular Sport Activities we wanted to research and find out whether it is important to include preschool children in extracurricular sport activities. In theoretical part, where descriptive method of research is used, we presented in detail the importance of creating and developing locomotor skills for motor development of the child, the importance of including preschool children in extracurricular sport activities, motor-experience rich environment and the role of parents, kindergarten and place of residence for inclusion of preschool children in extracurricular sport activities. In the empirical part we used qualitative technique for gathering data, namely the closed-type survey. Population sample is non-random, made up from concrete population of parents whose children are included in extracurricular sport activities in Sports club Svizec in municipalities of Slovenske Konjice, Zreče and Celje. Data is statistically processed and shown graphically and in tables. We discovered that mainly children from the city environment are involved in extracurricular sport activities; education levels of parents of children involved in extracurricular sport activities are higher, personal reasons of parents for engaging in sport activities is their well-being; parents include their children in extracurricular sport activities in order for them to develop locomotor skills; parents often engage in activities with their children by going on a walk with them; parents engage in sport activities only during the weekends.
