Abstract

Secondary title: REMOTE CONTROL OF ACCESS INTO A BUILDING WITH A MICROCOMPUTER RASPBERRY PI
Secondary abstract: In the diploma thesis, we pursued developing a remote access management system for a building entirely controlled and managed by the Raspberry Pi microcomputer which is capable of emulating a microcontroller due to its all-purpose receiving and transmitting pins. The diploma thesis discusses a remote access management system for a building using the Raspberry Pi microcomputer which allows for radio frequency identification based user recognition. After a successful identification, the door is unlocked electronically. Every access attempt is recorded to a database. All necessary programs run on the Raspberry Pi microcomputer which is also used as a controller. The input unit for user recognition is a RFID reader. The microcomputer also runs a web service which enables room access editing and overview for individual users.
