Secondary title: | Design of steel footbridge with 23 metre span |
Secondary abstract: | In the diploma thesis we performed a structural analysis of a steel footbridge. The bridge has a span of 23 metres. It was analysed and dimensioned according to European standards Eurocode. We modeled a 3D model using a software for structural design and calculation Scia Engineer. In the analysis we applied the following loads on the bridge: self weight, wind action, snow load and traffic loads. Our main objective was to optimize structure for shape and weight. |
