Secondary abstract: | Master’s thesis describes different approaches to design and optimize an assembly line. The main goal of this thesis was to invent a new algorithm which would be able to find the optimal solution for deployment of assembly operations to suitable working stations. Thesis analyses existing concepts of assembly operations deployment, but it also describes the developed algorithm which is able to identify the optimal solution to operations deployment. In order to test the algorithm a computer program was created using Python programming language and test on real problems from industry were conducted. |
