Abstract
Težave zdravstvenih ustanov, ki smo jih poskušali rešiti s pomočjo vpeljave vitke proizvodnje, so slaba organiziranost, slabša kakovost in neučinkovitost delovnih procesov ter daljše čakalne dobe. Cilj diplomskega dela je dokazati, da je vpeljava principov vitkosti v zdravstvene ustanove možna in da pomaga pri izboljšavi delovnih procesov, ki se vsakodnevno izvajajo v zdravstvenih ustanovah. Opravljena je bila teoretična raziskava strokovne literature o vitki proizvodnji na splošno in opisali smo 10 principov vitke proizvodnje. Prav tako smo raziskali prejšnje povezave vitke proizvodnje z zdravstvom in prikazali primer vpeljave principa 5-S v Tanzanijske bolnišnice. Na podlagi teoretične raziskave smo zaključili, da so principi vitke proizvodnje uporabni za zdravstvene ustanove. Opozorili smo tudi, da ima veliko pomembnost pri vpeljavi ustrezen tim in maksimalno sledenje pravilom vpeljave. V nasprotnem se tvega neuspeh vpeljave vitke proizvodnje, posledično pa izguba investiranega denarja. Predlagamo, da se v nadaljevanju poskuša vpeljati posamezne principe v glavno zdravstveno ustanovo regije. Na podlagi rezultatov uspeha vpeljave, se lahko kasneje vpeljava razširi tudi na vse ostale zdravstvene ustanove v regiji. Prav tako se po uspešni vpeljavi prvih principov v vse zdravstvene ustanove regije, lahko dodaja v projekt še vse ostale principe.

We tried to solve the problems of medical institutions such as poor organisation, lower quality, failure of work processes and longer waiting lists by introducing lean production. The goal of this diploma thesis is to prove that the introduction and implementation of lean production principles in medical institutions is not only possible, but also improves the daily work processes in these institutions. We performed a general theoretical research of professional literature on lean production and described 10 different lean production principles. We have also researched the connections between lean production and health care so far and presented an example of the 5-S principle introduction in a Tanzanian hospital. Based on our theoretical research we have concluded that lean production principles can be very useful for medical institutions. Further on we have pointed out how important it is to include the appropriate team and follow the implementation rules; noncompliance with the here mentioned can result in failure of lean production implementation and consequently loss of the invested financial means. We recommend implementation of one of the lean production principles presented in this diploma thesis into the main medical institution of each region. Based on the results of our research connected to successful principle implementation, the applied lean production principle can be later incorporated into all other medical institutions in the regions. After a successful implementation of the first principles in all regional medical institutions the remaining principles can be added to the project as well. |
