Razvoj turizma v občini Ormož

Abstract

Diplomska naloga obravnava razvoj turizma in mnenja domačinov o turizmu v občini Ormož. Občani so razvoju turizma pretežno naklonjeni, kritično pa ocenjujejo turistično ponudbo. Glavne prednosti turistične ponudbe občine so ugodna geografska lega, bogata naravna in kulturna dediščina, prijazni in gostoljubni domačini ter pestra kulinarična in vinska ponudba. Zaradi teh prednosti občino obiskuje vedno več turistov, ki si želijo aktivnega oddiha v naravi. Pomanjkljivosti se kažejo predvsem v slabo razviti turistični infrastrukturi in premajhni povezanosti turističnih ponudnikov. Naravna in kulturna dediščina občine predstavljata temelj za dolgoročno uspešen razvoj turizma oz. turistične ponudbe. Občina Ormož lahko postane razvita turistična destinacija, ki bo turistu ponudila aktivno preživljanje prostega časa v naravi ob dobri kulinariki.

Secondary abstract:	The diploma thesis deals with the development of tourism and the perceptions of residents on tourism in the municipality of Ormož. Residents are largely in favour of developing tourist attractions, but they are critical when evaluating the local tourist offer. Main advantages the tourist attraction offers in the municipality of Ormož are favourable geographical position, rich natural and cultural heritage, friendly and hospitable residents, and diverse culinary and wines. Due to these advantages, the municipality is visited by more tourists, who prefer to spend their vacation time in nature. Deficiencies are shown especially in the poorly developed tourist infrastructure and weak collaboration among tourism providers. The municipality’s natural and cultural heritage represents the basis for a successful long-term development of tourism and tourist offers. The area of municipality can become a developed tourist destination, offering an active leisure time in nature with excellent cuisine.
