Abstract

Diplomsko delo v prvem delu obravnava preračun stenskega nosilca po metodi končnih elementov in optimizacijo le-tega s postopkom optimizacije topologije s programskim paketom Abaqus. V drugem delu sledi priprava novega stenskega nosilca z istimi geometrijskimi in fizikalnimi omejitvami in primerjava s predhodnima modeloma. Na začetku je opisana metoda končnih elementov in postopek optimizacije topologije. V diplomskem delu sem prikazal rezultate, ki dokazujejo, da je za želene rezultate možno uporabiti veliko manj materiala, če je njegova aplikacija pravilna.

Secondary title: Modeling and topology optimization of an aluminium wall hanger
Secondary abstract: The first part of the research paper deals with the calculation of the wall hanger based on finite element analysis and optimizing the topology by using software program Abaqus. In the second part the preparation of a new wall hanger with the same geometrical and physical limitations is described and the comparison between the two models is analyzed. In the beginning the method of the finite element analysis is described and the topology optimization is presented. The Diploma paper shows the results which confirm that for the given results less material is needed provided it is applied correctly.
