Abstract

Delirij je definiran kot bolezensko stanje, ki se začne nenadoma, pacient je nemiren, krajevno in časovno neorientiran. Medikamentozni delirij je rezultat začasne telesne disfunkcije zaradi izpostavljenosti zdravilom. Vsako delirantno stanje pri pacientu je nujno stanje in je potrebno zdraviti v intenzivni terapiji. V diplomskem delu je predstavljena obravnavo pacienta z medikamentoznim delirijem ter aktivnosti zdravstvene nege pri obravnavi. Uporabljena je deskriptivna metoda dela. Teoretična izhodišča smo opredelili s pomočjo analize domače in tuje strokovne literature ter virov. Uporabili smo tudi podatkovni bazi COBISS ter DKUM.

Secondary abstract: Delirium is defined as a medical condition that begins suddenly, the patient is restless, disoriented in space and time. Delirium is a medical emergency and should be treated in the intensive care unit. We present the management, treatment and nursing activities in patient with drug induced delirium. We have used the descriptive method of work in our presentation. Domestic and foreign professional literature and resources were analysed for theoretical data. We also used the database COBISS and DKUM.
