Secondary abstract: | Project task investigates causes of cracks on a vacation house. Construction basis and theoretical explanation of geotechnical objects relying on vacation house are described. Geomechanical analysis of relavant ultimate and serviceability limite states. Structural standard, Brinch-Hansen theory of bearing capacity and SLIDE software from ROCSCIENCE were used for accomplishing our goal. Project contains all calculations for further reconstruction of cracked foundations. A suggestion for solution of occurred settlements was made at the end. |
