Abstract

Sodelovanje pacientov pri jemanju predpisanih antipsihotičnih zdravil je temelj pri preprečevanju poslabšanja bolezni in relapsa. Več kot polovica pacientov, obolelih za shizofrenijo, antipsihotičnih zdravil ne jemlje. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, kako socio-demografski, bolezenski in nekateri drugi dejavniki vplivajo na sodelovanje pacientov s shizofrenijo pri zdravljenju, hkrati pa izpostaviti najpogostejše vzroke, ki so privedli do opustitve predpisane terapije (nesodelovanja).

Secondary title: Factors influencing adherence in patients with schizophrenia
Secondary abstract: Despite the fact that adherence in antipsychotic medication is the cornerstone in the prevention of exacerbation of the disease and relapse, more than half of patients with schizophrenia are non-adherent to antipsychotics. The purpose of the study was to establish how socio-demographic, disease-related and some other factors have an impact on the participation of patients with schizophrenia during treatment and furthermore to determine the most common causes that lead to non-adherence.
