Abstract

Secondary title: Dynamic model of power system : from bloc 5 Thermal Power Plant Šoštanj to distribution transformer station Podlog
Secondary abstract: This work deals with a dynamic model of an electric power system (EPS) from the unit 5 of the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant (ŠTPP) to the distribution transformer station (DTS) Podlog. A comparison between real and ideal models of individual elements of EPS has been made. The results show that ideal models can be used in the dynamic model of a complete EPS. The dynamic model of EPS from the unit 5 ŠTPP to DTS Podlog was built in the program package MatLAB / Simulink, using module Powersys. An analysis of the dynamic model operation during failures, such as power loaded system and three phase short circuit, has been presented as well. Furthermore, a comparison between simulation results from the dynamic model of the EPS and the measurements measured on the real system of the unit 5 ŠTPP has been made. According to the results, the dynamic model can be drawn nearer to the real system of the EPS.
