Abstract

Namen diplomske naloge je bil opisati kemijsko kinetiko umiljenja izopropil acetata (CH3COOCH(CH3)2) z natrijevim hidroksidom (NaOH) v mešalnem šaržnem reaktorju pri petih različnih temperaturah (θ1 = 25 °C, θ2 = 27 °C, θ3 = 29 °C, θ4 = 31 °C in θ5 = 33 °C): CH3COOCH(CH3)2 + NaOH → CH3COONa + C3H7OH Reakcijo med izopropil acetatom in natrijevim hidroksidom smo zasledovali z merjenjem specifične prevodnosti. Z dobljenimi eksperimentalnimi vrednostmi smo določili presnovo ključnega reaktanta v odvisnosti od časa, konstanto hitrosti reakcije pri različnih temperaturah, Arheniusova parametra (aktivacijsko energijo in frekvenčni faktor) reakcije in s pomočjo teh podatkov določili red reakcije.

Secondary abstract: The aim of the diploma thesis was to describe the chemical kinetics of saponification of isopropyl acetate (CH3COOCH(CH3)2) with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) in a batch reactor at five different temperatures (θ1 = 25 °C, θ2 = 27 °C, θ3 = 29 °C, θ4 = 31 °C in θ5 = 33 °C): CH3COOCH(CH3)2 + NaOH → CH3COONa + C3H7OH The reaction between isopropyl acetate and sodium hydroxide was observed by measuring electric conductivity. The gathered experimental data was used to determine the conversion of the key reactant depending on time, the reaction rate constant at different temperatures and the Arrheniu´s reaction parameters (activation energy and frequency factor). These data were used to determine the order of reaction, and the impact of the temperature on conversion was also determined.
