Abstract

Secondary abstract: Violence is a learned pattern of behavior that it is inadmissible and punishable. It is a wide range of negative treatment that leaves the victims severe and lasting both emotional and physical consequences. A child who is a victim of such violence can have lasting ramifications and is marked lifelong. The perpetrator of violence is responsible for this and the victim is offered immediate help. Professional literature broadly distinguishes five types of violence: psychological, physical, peer, sexual and domestic violence. Mostly peer violence occurs from the family. Children who are beaten by their parents at home pass on this behavior pattern. Violence among peers can be physical or psychological, individually or collectively. Violence is present when a pupil or group of pupils tells another student unpleasant or obscene words, mocks him, kicks, hits him, destroys his clothes or school supplies, slanders him and excretes him from the company of his peers, lock him in the dressing room or classroom, etc.., because of that such pupil suffers and is unable to fight back. There are various forms of violence, as well as various factors that have an influence on peer bullying, like media peers, family and school. In the thesis bullying among children in primary school is presented in detail.
