Abstract
Zgodovina termina »promocija zdravja« sicer sega nekaj desetletij pred Ottawsko listino o promociji zdravja, ki jo nekateri enačijo za časovno prelomnico promocije zdravja. Prvič naj bi termin izpostavil znan zgodovinar medicine, Henry E. Sigerist, ki je leta 1945 promocijo zdravja opredelil kot eno izmed štirih temeljnih nalog medicine, torej poleg preprečevanja bolezni, zdravljenja bolnih in rehabilitacije. Zanje je promovirati zdravje pomenilo zagotavljati primerne življenjske razmere, izobrazbo, sredstva za počitek in rekreacijo. Po njegovem mnenju naj bi vsak nacionalni program zdravja zagotavljal brezplačno izobraževanje za vse ljudi, dobre delovne in življenjske pogoje ter možnosti za počitek in rekreacijo (Kanin, 2004).
Temo diplomskega seminarja smo izbrali zato, ker je promocija zdravja v Sloveniji slabo raziskan, nepoznan in neizvajan projekt, pa tudi glede na trenutno gospodarsko stanje v državi. Veliko je brezposelnih, veliko je izkoriščanja delavcev, veliko je delodajalcev, ki ne izvajajo, po zakonu predpisanega programa promocije zdravja pri delu. To je področje, ki v prvi vrsti zahteva veliko vlaganj delodajalca, da sestavi program promocije, da ima sestavljene izjave o varnosti, oceno tveganja za vsako delovno mesto v podjetju, in da na koncu izvaja aktivnosti programa.
Osredotočili smo se na zakon o Varnosti in zdravja pri delu in izhajamo iz primera podjetja BTL Marketing d.o.o.. Veliko pozornosti smo v diplomskem seminarju namenili zdravju, zadovoljstvu in motivaciji delavcev. Pomembno je, da imamo zdrave ljudi v organizacijah, da se na svojih delovnih mestih dobro počutijo, da so motivirani za delo, ki ga opravljajo, ker bodo takrat bolj uspešnejši in učinkoviti, kar je pa dobro tudi za organizacijo.
Diplomski seminar smo razdelili na teoretični in praktični del. V prvem delu smo povzemali različne avtorje, ki tako ali drugače definirajo zdravje, promocijo zdravja pri delu, njen razvoj in zgodovino, zadovoljstvo zaposlenih pri delu, dobro počutje, motiviranost in vpliv na promocijo zdravja. V praktičnem delu smo opravili anketni vprašalnik med zaposlenimi v podjetju BTL Marketing d.o.o., dobljene rezultate predstavili v tabeli in na podlagi teh rezultati ovrgli ali potrdili hipoteze. V sklepnem delu smo opisali rezultate in podali mnenje.

The history of term »promotion of health« goes back decades before the Ottawa Charter about health promotion, which some equate with fault line for health promotion. The term was supposebly emphasized for the first time by the eminent medical historian, Henry E. Sigerist, who defined the promotion of health in 1945 as one of the basic tasks of medicine, besides disease prevention, medical treatment and rehabilitation. To him, promotion of health meant providing proper living conditions, education, means for rest and recreation. In his opinion every national program should provide free education for everybody, good working and living conditions and possibility of rest and recreation (Kanin, 2004).
We chose this topic for our graduation seminar because the promotion of health in Slovenia is very poorly investigated, unknown and unimplemented project, which also has to do with current economic situation in our country. There is a lot of unemployment, exploitation of workers and lots of employers that do not implement prescribed program for health promotion at work. Putting together a program of promotion, assembly of safety statements and risk assessment for every post in the company and the implementation of the activities of the program is an area that demands a lot of investments from the employers.
We focused on the Law on Safety and Health at Work and derived from the case of the company BTL Marketing d.o.o.. In this graduation seminar we dedicated a lot of attention to heath, satisfaction and motivation of the workers. It is important to have healthy people in the organisations, people who feel good on their post and are motivated for the work they do. When this happens, they will be more successful and efficient, which is also good for the organisation.
We divided our graduation thesis into theoretical and empirical part. In the first part we summarized different authors that have different definitions of health, health promotion at work, its development and history, the satisfaction of the employees at work, wellbeing of employees, motivation and influence on the health promotion. In the empirical part we did a survey amongst employees in the company BTL Marketing d.o.o., represented the results in a table and, based on the results, confirm or refute hypotheses. In the concluding part we described results and delivered our opinions. |
