Abstract

Secondary abstract: Our ancestors used lies out of the need for survival. But today there are many more reasons why we use it, and consequently several forms of lies. Nevertheless, they have common origin of expression, which can be recognized with the appropriate skills. A lie can be recognized by the change in body language, the central element of the non-verbal communication. The introductory part is focused on lie. I found reasons for lying and the reasons why it is difficult to lie. I was also interested in the evolutionary development of lies. The central part is intended for connection lies with the non-verbal communication, body language in particular. I was wondering whether you can recognize a lie by observing non-verbal communication. In the empirical part, I wanted to find out whether the police and the rest of the staff at PP Novo mesto business hours observing non-verbal communication, in particular, whether the paneling with a view to identifying fraud.
