Abstract

Predstavili smo pojem logistike in oskrbovalne verige in nato smiselno razložili, kakšen vpliv imata na logistiko poslovna inteligenca in podatkovno skladiščenje. Podrobneje je opisan pojem kakovosti podatkov, arhitekture podatkovnih skladišč ter postopek modeliranja dimenzij in tabel dejstev. Na praktičnem primeru prikažemo postopek načrtovanja in izgradnje podatkovnega skladišča za podporo logističnemu procesu. Podrobno opišemo vse faze ETL procesa za vsako dimenzijo in kreiramo OLAP kocko, ki služi kot osnova za izvajanje analiz. Odgovorimo na pet postavljenih vprašanj, predstavimo ugotovitve ter podamo mnenje o dogajanju, spremembah in morebitnih ukrepih.

Secondary abstract: We have introduced the concept of logistics and supply chain management and then logically explained what influence, business intelligence and data warehousing has, on the mentioned concepts. We have thoroughly described the concept of data quality, data warehouse architectures and process of dimensional modeling. We have planned and designed a practical case of data warehouse, upon which we have described the process of planning and building a data warehouse for support of logistics processes. We have thoroughly described all phases of the ETL process implementation, for each of the dimensions. We designed and built an OLAP cube that serves as a base for carrying out analysis. We answer on five questions, introduce our findings and give our opinion on the given events, changes and possible measures.
