Abstract

Projektna naloga temelji na idejni zasnovi študentskih bivališč za mlade družine ob Strossmayerjevi ulici v Mariboru. V nalogi je predstavljen zgodovinski del območja, današnje stanje študentskih družin in študentskih domov v Mariboru. Naloga je podkrepljena z referenčnimi primeri dobre prakse študentskih domov ter analiz območja. V prilogah je predlagana zasnova študentskih bivališč, ki so zasnovana iz dveh med seboj povezanih stolpičev, katera rušita karejsko zasnovo mesta in skupaj predstavljata zaščitna simbola izobrazbe in družine.

Secondary abstract:	This thesis is based on a concept of student housing for young families on Strossmayer Street, Maribor. It describes the history of the area, the state of student families today and student dormitories in Maribor. It is supported by references which cite examples of good practice in relation to student dormitories, kindergartens and analysis of the area. The proposed design for a student residence can be found in the appendices. It is a design for a residence with two towers, interconnected, and is presented as a protective symbol for education and family togetherness.
