Sinhronizacija podatkov med datotečnim strežnikom in serviserji

Abstract

V diplomski nalogi opisujemo razvoj programske rešitve za sinhronizacijo podatkov med podatkovnim strežnikom in prenosljivimi mediji servisejev na terenu. Najprej smo opredelili ciljni sistem. Poiskali smo njemu sorodne sisteme v naši okolici in naredili analizo odgovorov zaposlenih na podlagi rešenega vprašalnika. Ugotovili smo, da prihaja do težav pri vsakodnevnem osveževanju podatkov na prenosnih napravah in pri komunikaciji med uporabniki ter upravljalci podatkovnega strežnika. Na podlagi tega smo opredelili funkcionalnosti, ki jih mora rešitev vsebovati. Na kratko smo opisali orodja, standarde in protokole, potrebne za razvoj, in določili osnovno arhitekturo programske rešitve. V fazi razvoja smo najprej opisali podporne gradnike programa, nato pa prikazali še najpomembnejše dele razvoja posameznih funkcij. Programsko kodo smo pisali v programskem okolju VB.net, za bazo podatkov pa smo uporabili Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Na koncu smo opisali še praktično uporabo rešitve in na podlagi te naredili SWOT analizo.

Secondary abstract:	The following thesis describes the development of a software solution for data synchronization between database server and the removable media of field technicians. First, the target system was defined. Then its cognate systems in our environment were found and the analysis of employees´ answers to a questionnaire was conducted. It has been established that there were problems with day-to-day updating of data on the removable media and with the communication between users and database administrators. Based on that, the required functionalities of a software solution were specified. Tools, standards and protocols needed for the development were described in brief and the basic architecture of application was outlined. In the beginning of the development phase, the auxiliary components of the application were described and then, later on, the most important parts of the development of individual functions were presented. Application´s source code was written in VB.net interactive development environment, while Microsoft SQL Server 2005 was used for the database. Lastly, practical use of software solution was described and based on that, SWOT analysis was performed.
