Abstract

V magistrski nalogi je opisan postopek razvoja stroja za kontinuirano litje aluminijastega traku. V nalogi je predstavljen postopek pridobivanja in uporabe podatkov, pridobljenih na osnovi obstoječih rešitev, priporočil proizvajalca, patentov ali literature. Pridobljene podatke uporabimo pri izdelavi konceptnih rešitev s pomočjo različnih razvojnih metod. Izdelane konceptne rešitve med seboj primerjamo in vrednotimo, da pridobimo čim bolj ugoden rezultat glede na zahtevane smernice stroja. Rezultati, predstavljeni v nalogi, opisujejo mehanske lastnosti različnih izvedb konstrukcije na osnovi numeričnih preračunov. Rezultate numeričnih preračunov smo zaporedno analizirali in uporabljali pri prilagajanju izvedbe konstrukcije za doseganje čim bolj ugodnih rezultatov. Rezultat zaključenih razvojno konstrukcijskih postopkov je stroj, ki je s svojo izvedbo skladen z vsemi zahtevami, podanimi v zahtevniku, in zahtevami, ki so potrebne za zanesljivo in varno delovanje stroja.

Secondary title: Development of machine for continuous casting of aluminium strip
Secondary abstract: In my thesis, the process of developing a continuous casting machine, whose product is aluminium strip, and the process of acquiring and applying information and data, obtained by reviewing existing solutions, manufacturer’s recommendations, patents and other sources, are described. The acquired data is used in creating conceptual solutions with the aid of various developmental methods. The solutions are subsequently evaluated to guarantee a favourable outcome in regard to the predefined guidelines. The results introduced in this thesis reveal the mechanical attributes of different construction designs, based on numerical calculations. The results were sequentially analysed and used in adjusting the construction design to achieve the most favourable outcome. The result of completed constructional development methods is a type of machine that is consistent with every requirement from the list of demands and meets the criteria for safety and reliability.
