diplomsko delo
Abstract

Secondary abstract: |
The use of virtual currencies is increasing rapidly lately, which constitutes the need for a detailed introduction of those currencies. From a technical point of view virtual currencies offer relatively perfective and operable system. However, this system comes with numerous uncertainties because of the unclear legal framework. Legislators and legal experts all over the world are just starting to discover this phenomenon. In the graduation thesis the virtual currency system is presented from legal, economic and technical aspect with the emphasis on bitcoin. The broad insight into system's operation is the basis for understanding the legislative processes which will co-design the future of virtual currencies. The graduation thesis summarizes a part of legislative and regulatory processes in different jurisdictions which are theoretically and practically seeking a way to include virtual currencies into sound and clear legal framework. |
