Abstract

V diplomskem delu obravnavamo pristope k 3D modeliranju in animacij mišic človeškega telesa.

Secondary title: MUSCLE MOVEMENT IN 3D ANIMATION
Secondary abstract: These diploma thesis studies approaches for 3D modelling and animation of human muscles. For this purpose, we first describe the physiological background of the muscular system, the basic anatomy of the muscles, their structure and behavior. We, furthermore, examine the forces affecting the muscles and how they change in regards to the forces acting on them. We describe the different types of muscle contractions and provide a detailed presentation of their characteristics. It is followed by a description of the existing techniques for creating muscle animations, the problems animators are facing during the implementation and the current state-of-the-art. As a practical example, we created a realistic model of the muscular system of the human body and demonstrate its accuracy by animating the physiologically correct muscle movements during gymnastic exercises.
